About the role
Hours: Variable, including evenings and weekends, depending on the production schedule. Touring within Scotland will also be required.
Salary: £13.35 - £15.59 (per hour)
Location: Rehearsals in Glasgow. Performances in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness.

Scottish Opera is Scotland’s national opera company. We take world-class opera to all corners of Scotland, ensuring that as many people as possible can enjoy this wonderful art form.
We are seeking 4-6 experienced and reliable chaperones to support our young performers in an exciting new touring production from August to the end of November 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in opera while ensuring the safeguarding and well-being of young people involved in the production.
The role will be based in Glasgow for rehearsals, then travel will be required for other locations including Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness. Hours will be variable depending on the production schedule. This includes working in the evenings and at the weekend.
