We are deeply saddened about the recent death of Emma Kerr, who was the Scottish Opera Robertson Trust Emerging Artist from 2015 to 2017.
We are delighted to announce a busy 2022 Spring and Summer, with a new production of Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream in February, directed by Dominic Hill of Citizens Theatre, a revival of Sir Thomas Allen’s production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni in May, and Opera in Concert performances of Rachmaninov’s The Miserly Knight and Stravinsky’s Mavra in March, conducted by Scottish Opera Music Director, Stuart Stratford.
We are thrilled to be heading to Dundee’s Caird Hall on Sunday 12 December, for The Puccini Collection concert, which features favourite arias, ensembles and orchestral interludes from Giacomo Puccini’s timeless operas.
This December, there’s a chance to see our delightful Christmas production for pre-school children, Mister MacNeep Has Lost His Sheep.
