We are delighted to announce that on Easter Sunday (17 April) at 8pm, our new production of Gilbert & Sullivan's The Gondoliers, is scheduled for broadcast on BBC Four!
On Thursday 19 May, at Perth Concert Hall, we are presenting an eclectic programme of opera’s most moving pieces to open Perth Festival of the Arts 50th Anniversary Festival.
In Glasgow this summer, we are staging a one of a kind, outdoor promenade production of Leonard Bernstein’s satirical opera, Candide, and are encouraging members of the public from all walks of life to join the show’s community chorus.
Memory Spinners, our project designed to engage with people living with dementia through music and art, has begun at Glasgow’s St Columba’s Church and Holy Trinity Church Hall in St Andrews. Having launched in 2012, the sessions were put on hold for two years during the pandemic and this is the first time the groups have been able to come together since.
This May, we are delighted to present a revival of our dark and atmospheric 2013 production of Don Giovanni at Theatre Royal Glasgow, Eden Court Inverness and Festival Theatre Edinburgh. Possible for the first time since the end of 2019, the tour also visits His Majesty’s Theatre, in Aberdeen. The 5 June performance in Edinburgh marks the 60th anniversary of our founding, which will spark a year of celebration.
