This December 14 and 16 at Paisley Town Hall, we are delighted to be presenting Engelbert Humperdinck's magical fairy tale, Hansel & Gretel, in a bright and vivid new concert staging. These concert performances help celebrate the reopening of the iconic 19th-century architectural gem which has undergone a multimillion-pound transformation.
Sir Thomas Allen’s riotous production of Rossini’s The Barber of Seville, designed by Simon Higlett, opens on 17 October at Theatre Royal Glasgow. First seen in 2007, this delightful comedy tours to Edinburgh, Inverness and Aberdeen.
Our friends at Paisley Opera have announced that their next production is Macbeth, which will be staged at Paisley Town Hall. The two performances of this new, specially commissioned translation of Verdi’s great work based on Shakespeare’s play, take place on 6 and 7 October, and mark the much-anticipated reopening to the public of this great venue after a refurbishment.
Tickets are now on sale for our vibrant new production of Opera Highlights, which goes on the road again this autumn, visiting 17 venues around Scotland.
